Over the course of the year, students in the Art History Club will study 40 artists and paintings.  These artworks were selected from Texas art museums and the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. (see below).  Students will memorize the titles and artists of each of these works of art and later compete as a team in the UIL Picture Memory competition in April.  Click here to view the official list of 40 artists and paintings for the 2007-2008 UIL competition.

Students need to purchase a set of flash cards for $6 from Ms. Trout.  These flash cards are full color and feature each of the 40 artworks from the list.  Students may purchase these flash cards to keep forever!

We will meet twice a month on Mondays from 3:45 - 4:30.  On meeting days, please come to the multipurpose room at 3:30 to find Ms. Trout and sit quietly until club begins at 3:45.  This would be a great time to study your flash cards!  A snack will be provided once we get to Ms. Trout's room.
