few pages of non-fiction every week. Keep it going through the
weekend. Observe the pictures and graphs and charts. Even comments
from cartoon characters alongside the passages help you learn
something new! Enjoy the experience.

Things are
starting to come up in the garden! We still have students
coming in the mornings to pull weeds as well as water the seeds in
the greenhouse we are starting for the Katy Prairie Conservancy to
help with the Blazing Star Project.
We will be
having an open house later this month for those of you that are
interested in volunteering in the garden or are just wanting to come
and see how it's looking after the winter.

Shadowbriar is 80% complete
in Fitnessgram Testing. Students who requested private
testing or need a re-take will be given an opportunity at
the end of the testing period. I am very pleased with the
progress Shadowbriar has made in health fitness. I am
encouraged that our results, as compared to last year, will
show significant improvement.
